Once upon a time, I was just like you—waiting for my love to show up, so we could build the beautiful family life I had always dreamed of.I was young, a successful biomedical engineer working for a renowned company, and full of excitement, faith, and love. I believed in love. I believed in marriage. I believed in family.Then came my divorce—a slap in the face that made me stop and ask: What happened? How did this happen? And why?Those questions changed the direction of my life. As I searched for answers, I began to understand something that had never occurred to me before: we are expected to make one of the most important choices of our lives—choosing a life partner—but what are we taught about how to choose?

We are often given superficial, culturally driven, or incomplete criteria for choosing a life partner. And as the years pass, cultural pressure can become louder, gradually diluting our own vision, our path, and our right to make this deeply personal choice for ourselves.That realization became a turning point. I wanted something different for my son, for myself, and for all those who believe in love, happiness, and real families. I left my successful career and pursued my passion for empowering people to create happy relationships.
In 2005, I founded Happy Family in Egypt and began introducing Life Coaching, a discipline that was still largely unheard of. I worked with healthy, functional people who wanted to advance, achieve dreams, and create possibilities they had never thought possible. I was welcomed on television and radio, featured in magazines and journals, and invited to speak at universities, social clubs, and community organizations. I worked with hundreds of singles, couples, professionals, and entrepreneurs across Egypt.A couple of years later, I introduced Relationship Coaching, bringing coaching into one of the most important areas of our lives: the relationships we choose and the families we build.
When I moved to Calgary in 2013, my understanding deepened again. Living in a new country opened my eyes to the challenges of finding yourself between cultures—unable to completely adopt the new culture, yet unable to simply ignore it. And choosing to follow your original culture may not necessarily be the answer when choosing a life partner. The weight of creating a new life can leave very little space for yourself—to pause, discover what you truly want, and make choices that are genuinely your own.This is the journey that brought me here—and the foundation of the work I do today: empowering people to make the choices that shape the love and life they believe in.
